Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one victories have been won on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev claimed his initial title for nearly 30 months with success over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has had a torrid period, managing just one win at the Grand Slams and suffering a setback at the American major.
The player's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and struggles with his service game in especial - led to him exiting of the elite rankings and ultimately separating with former trainer Cervara.
Now collaborating with his coach and his other coach, the tennis star has gradually improved in the recent weeks - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's initial title following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hardcourt after spring of the previous year.
Success also indicates he has secured 21 victories at 21 different tournaments.
"For the first time I'm at a event with my both daughters together, so to win a title is especially meaningful," stated world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my child her name, because the initial championship I achieved when my first daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his past six championship matches, including in that event earlier this year.
The player's defensive strategy and frequent emotional displays on court had led commentators to question if his skill to play at the elite level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has made changes in the past month, attempting to approach the net and compete assertively, supported by an enhanced serving game.
The champion came back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the difficult Moutet, winning 4 of the final five exchanges to go ahead.
Both players exchanged break points in the following set before Moutet, striving for his maiden professional title, seized the initiative to force a decider.
The opponent rescued 4 initial chances in a tight third set before the champion broke to that score to secure the win.
Appropriately, the winner earned the title with a rally at the front of the court, with Moutet failing to control a volley after over two and a half hours.
